What Coffee Badging Actually Tells Us

Strip away the amusing mechanics of the trend and what coffee badging reveals is significant. It is a mass, largely silent, employee vote on the value proposition of the office.

And the vote is: we’ll comply technically, but we don’t believe the premise.

This is worth taking seriously. Here is the thing that gets lost in the jokes about badge-and-bolt tactics: coffee badging at scale is a diagnostic signal for organisations, not just a productivity quirk for individuals.
